Care & Maintenance
Brass, Bronze & Copper
Some of our brass, bronze and copper products are natural finishes. The current fashion is for a light patina on natural finishes such as brass, bronze and copper. It is normal for such material to form darker patch of tarnish or lose it’s glossy look over time and after prolonged use - which is the beauty of natural materials.
You could either let them age with grace, turn blotchy, dull and darken naturally that adds character to our products (may take years) or maintain the finish with a sealants available in the market if you prefer to keep them shinny and new.
For regular cleaning, use a clean, soft damp cloth to clean our products, you may also sparingly use a good commercial polish for upkeep. After cleaning just dry right away to avoid water-spotting!
It is normal for lacquered finishes to wear off over time, but to maintain the maximum lifespan of our products, Zhnng recommends NOT to use chemicals of any kind, including soaps, abrasive cleaners, window or kitchen cleaners. The use of these cleaning products may damage the lacquer surface hence changing the appearance of the products.
Chrome, Powder Coating, Aluminium & Stainless Steel
Zhnng recommends using a mild, non-alkaline soap and soft damp cloth for regular cleaning. We do NOT recommend use of chemicals of any kind, including soaps, abrasive cleaners, window or kitchen cleaners. The use of these cleaning products may damage the lacquer surface hence changing the appearance of the products.
Dry right away to avoid water spotting too!
